To call this a "project of a lifetime" is a gross understatement. 

To commemorate the 90th birthday of jazz piano legend, Oscar Peterson, Kelly Peterson has produced a world premiere recording of never-before heard original Oscar Peterson compositions, by some of the most celebrated jazz artists in the world. The new recording "Oscar, With Love", not only showcases never before released compositions by Peterson, but all were performed and recorded in Oscar's home studio on his treasured Bösendorfer Imperial piano.

Oscar, With Love features the talents of: Monty Alexander, Lance Anderson, Kenny Barron, Robi Botos, Bill Charlap, Gerald Clayton, Chick Corea, Benny Green, Hiromi, Oliver Jones, Justin Kauflin, Michel Legrand, Ramsey Lewis, Audrey Morris, Makoto Ozone and Renee Rosnes.

I was beyond honoured to have been on hand for the recording, shooting portraits of all the artists and behind-the-scenes players for use in the commemorative book that accompanies the CD. Also featured in the book are some archival photos from the Peterson family archives that any OP fan will want to see!
